Piston protrusion
0.014 – 0.020”    2 hole head gasket
0.021 - 0.022”    1 hole head gasket
0.022 – 0.025”    3 hole head gasket

How to check which head gasket type is fitted to your engine:
As you stand in front of the vehicle facing the engine, on the right hand side where the head meets the block behind the front timing cover a piece of head gasket sticks out which will show either 1, 2 or 3 little holes.
